It is 1960.  Dad spent £5 on a selection of second hand Tri-ang Railways items which were quickly arranged during the early hours of Christmas morning into a 6ft x 4ft train set.  From then on my interest in the products of Rovex Scale Models has remained.  I hope you enjoy a nostalgic look back to the affordable train sets of the 50's and 60's as I have tried to display a selection of the 'OO' gauge range offered at that time.  All items were 'Built in  Britain' at their purpose built factory in Margate.  The baseboard is now over 10ft long x 4ft wide, a high level section is planned as the next stage of development.
