This is a new 'OO' gauge layout, based on a typical Midland Railway shed, towards the end of the steam era.  Most of the locomotives on the layout are ready to run, but all have been repainted, renumbered and weathered to vastly improve their appearance.  All of the structures, including the main loco shed, coaler and round house have been scratch built from plastic sheet.  Pointwork is PECO code 75 fitted with PECO point motors mounted below the baseboard.  Flexible track sections are C&L which gives a far more scale appearance than the PECO equivalent.
