Camfield is a fictional location based in the
Midlands area in the period 1970-1976.The layout portrays a cross-country route to allow us to run a
variety of secondary services with the occasional mainline diversion.Freight along the route is plentiful serving both the branch line
and the local rail served factory. The layout has been built from mainly
proprietary items to show what can be achieved using products 'off the
shelf'.Stock is mixture of
'ready to run' and kit built items, some of which have been modified. They say a layout is never finished, which in this case is very
true, with lots more minor detailing items to be added and buildings to
be upgraded/modified.
This layout has now been purchased by a B(NN)RS club member.
